Everything I carve is done is the ancient tradition of hand carving using only a brass mallet and steel chisels.
There are only a dozen or so artisans in this country who still practice the ancient art of cutting letters by hand. This gives the lettering a life, personality, and perfection missing from most text we see today.
Can come from anywhere. This stone is now placed on aisle within the cemetery called "Locust Lane". The Locust tree traditionally symbolizes affection beyond the grave, and also tenacity under adversity. The man memorialized was one of ten siblings so there are ten locust fronds adorning the stone.
