In 20?? I was invited to travel to Warsaw Poland to teach a series of Sacred Harp Singing Schools.  I stayed in the Dominican Monastery in Warsaw which was strange and amazing.  Knowing my enthusiasm for graveyards my host brother Blazej Matusiak took me to visit ______ cemetery.

I think the world is divided into two types of people: those who like visiting graveyards and those who find it distasteful.  I am clearly in the former camp.  Graveyards are free, open-air, permanent museums of art and culture.  They are such a reflection of the people who created them and how a culture values history and memory.
